International family picnic The annual International Family Picnic traditionally takes place at the beginning of October at the Etang de Fontmerle in Mougins. It brings together the German, Spanish, Italian and English sections of the CIV, Eganaude & Niki de St Phalle, and the English sections at Haut Sartoux & St Martin. At the start of the new school year, it is a perfect opportunity for families to meet and for new families to be welcomed into the International Community. 
Families picnicking at the Etang de Fontmerle Each section provides an aperitif that is followed by a family picnics, then shared desserts and finally games. The games include traditional favourites such as three legged race, sack race, egg on spoon race and also team games such as football and cricket and baseball.
