L'Eganaude

An Anglophone section was opened in Eganaude in 2004, making it one of three collèges in Sophia Antipolis for which ASEICA provides teachers. There are currently 102 children in the section. An Italian section also opened in 2004.

It is the intention of ASEICA, working with Education Nationale, to continue the expansion of the Anglophone programme at Niki de St Phalle and Eganaude in response to the strong interest among local families for international education and the international outlook of the area. A further 56 students are therefore expected to join the section’s new 6ème class in September 2007.

Students taking the sixième admissions test, or coming from the Trois Collines and Sartoux primary international sections, are allocated to Eganaude or either of the other two collèges according to where they live. Eganaude serves primarily the areas of Biot and Sophia-Antipolis and in recent years has welcomed pupils from Cannes, Mougins and Antibes into its international classes.

After successfully completing the collège programme, including the International Brevet exam, international section students from all three collèges will come together in lycée at the CIV where they will prepare for the OIB.
