ASEICA
ASEICA, the "Association pour le soutien de l’Education Internationale sur la Côte d’Azur", has worked within the French state education system for more than 20 years, promoting high quality, bilingual education for thousands of children. |
With ASEICA, bilingual education begins at the age of 6. The children's week is equally divided between the Education Nationale primary programme, taught in French, and ASEICA's complementary curriculum, taught in English. |
More than 500 students currently follow ASEICA English and Humanities programmes in one of the three collèges in Sophia Antipolis offering the Brevet International. After 3ème they will all transfer to the anglophone section of the international lycée at the CIV. |
Students who complete the OIB at the CIV have had a sophisticated anglophone education in language, literature, history, geography and culture.
The experience of the student is not just an immersion in a challenging academic atmosphere, but also an enriching cultural one, where the methods of the teachers, as well as the content taught, reflect the origins of the teaching staff.
Young people educated by ASEICA leave our programmes having acquired a first hand appreciation of the values of multiculturalism and go on to study at some of the most prestigious schools and universities in France and the English speaking world. |
ASEICA's mission is to promote high-quality bilingual education for the world of tomorrow. We pride ourselves on the international values of our students, the opportunities these students have open to them and the excellence of their academic performances. |
ASEICA employs over 20 qualified English mother-tongue teachers who work alongside French colleagues in a number of state schools in Sophia Antipolis and Mougins. Over 1000 children are currently registered with ASEICA, following primary, collège and lycée programmes culminating in the prestigious OIB examination. |
